For compliance purposes I’m trying to get a feel for how many documents and document tabs exist for our enterprise.  Is there any way to get a report or query for them?

With the Document Discovery feature you can search for all documents created by all users on your account. Please note that only the Account Owner and Document Admins can utilize the Document Discovery feature. Your Lucid Account Owner or another Account admin that also has the Document admin role can assign you Document Admin privileges
 
Alternatively, the All user data report (downloadable from the Admin Panel > Usage data tab) has three columns that might be useful for you: Documents Accessible IndividuallyDocuments Edited, and Document Views
