I had many lucidSpark documents that I recently deleted because my account was almost out of storage. After moving dozens of documents to the trash and then emptying the trash, my account is still out of storage and hasn’t changed at all.

How should I go about reclaiming my storage space?

Thank you for asking this question @wvanbeckum,

I wonder if there is a delay in our system recognizing that those have been deleted. Are you still seeing that your storage is still full?

I thought of that and waited three days after emptying the trash, but am still seeing the error.

Hi @wvanbeckum ,

Thanks for contacting Lucid Support! Please see our Troubleshooting: Storage article from the Lucid Help Center for steps to resolve storage issues.

Here are a couple of additional things to look at when working with storage:

  • You can check how much of your storage is being used and what it is being used by your account settings under the "Plan and Billing" tab. If you hover over each of the colored sections, you can see what that portion of the storage represents.
  • Images generally take up the most space in your account, if you are running out of room it is recommended that you clear out as many images as you can from both your documents/boards and your Image Manager. You can access your Image Manager from the file menu at the top of your diagram editor in Lucidchart (File> Settings> Image manager).

Please let me know if you continue to run into storage issues after trying these steps, and I will be happy to help further.
