We’re excited that you want to post in the Lucid Community!
To start, search the community and use tags to browse existing topics.
If there is already a topic created about what you wanted to share, join the conversation in that thread! After searching, if you need to start a new community topic, click the create topic button in the top-right corner. This will open the Create new topic page.
From here, you can select:
- Question if you need help learning how to use Lucid’s products, are running into an issue, or need further help of any kind . If you are looking for support in the community, read through these tips before posting to make your topic as effective as possible.
- Conversation if you want to discuss or share templates, use cases, or product tips and tricks with your fellow Lucid users.
- Idea if you want to share an idea about how we could make Lucid even better. For more info on what happens to product feedback shared in the community, check out this topic.
Now it’s time to enter a topic title.
Choose a descriptive title that summarizes your question/conversation/idea and contains a variety of keywords to help other users find your topic by searching.
Next, write your description.
This is the place to really get into it, so make sure to include lots of details and screenshots. There are many ways to make your post specific and personalized, including custom styling, photos, polls, and code blocks. Please be sure to follow our community guidelines in your post to keep the community a collaborative and uplifting place to be.
Now, choose a category for your post.
If you aren’t sure where it fits, explore the categories from the community home page, and read the descriptions to see what kinds of conversations are happening in each category.
The final step is adding tags.
We recommend adding 1-3 tags for the product and features used, such as "Lucidchart" or "data linking", to help other users easily find your post.
And that’s it! Your topic is now ready to publish by clicking the Create button. Thank you for contributing to the Lucid Community, we’re glad to have you here!
