I have a diagram (like an architecture) and I’m having problems selecting some of the relationship lines. I can select the newest ones I’ve created, but not older (last week and prior) lines. I cannot click select nor click/drag select, but when I click/drag it does highlight the line but only until I unclick. I do have layers, one involves zero relationship lines, the other shows all objects BUT lines (selected all lines and created a layer). Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

This behavior likely comes from how the layers are set up in your document.
If the lines you are trying to select are placed on a layer that is either locked or hidden, that would prevent you from selecting them. Even though you can briefly highlight them while dragging, you will not be able to click and select them directly. Here is what I recommend:

Open the Layers panel by clicking the stacked square icon in the right-hand toolbar.

Check the visibility and lock status of each layer. If your older lines are on a separate layer, make sure that layer is both visible and unlocked.

Once the correct layer is unlocked and visible, you should be able to select and edit those lines normally.
