Area and Iteration are not populating Card Details correctly from integration with ADO.

Can you let us know what browser you’re using? And how quickly you’re accessing that edit button? 

 

I was able to partially replicate this issue. It looks like the initial request to ADO grabs the Area ID and Iteration ID (Displaying the first 3 numbers of those IDs), then calls back to ADO to convert that ID to the Area Path / Iteration Path.  It took some time to do this conversion, so just wanted to confirm you’re giving it enough time to load, especially if you have a lot of stories displaying on your board.  But on the plus side, it should be the correct ID’s at least! 

 

You can confirm this by adding Iteration ID and Area ID columns to your backlog.

Area and Iteration path columns are columns. Both fields are set with a value on the ADO work item. Imported new ADO work item and waited. Same results.


Hi ​@PCrawford - I understand they are columns, but Area path and Iteration Path are just names, not unique identifiers which is likely why the API first pulls the actual ID of each to ensure it is grabbing the correct work items. 

 

I would try it in different browsers next to ensure it’s not a browser loading issue.  Since waiting for it to load didn’t work, and if a different browser gives the same result, then my recommendation is to reach out to lucid support directly since this issue is specific to your situation.
