Successfully onboarding new engineers comes with a number of challenges. From getting your new hire caught up on team structure, to supporting them with learning your systems and code, visual aids can play a key role. How do you use diagrams and boards in your onboarding process for new engineers?

Utilizing Lucidchart Folders can help new hires by finding the team’s work in the Lucid centralized repository. With new hires you could create a scavenger hunt to ensure that the new hire learns the functionality of your internal systems and can learn how to use Lucid as well. Let me know if you would want more specific ideas.

Diagrams could also guide a new hire on a project framework such as scrum or a methodology such as Waterfall.
