In this article we will cover what to do if you get an error message when connecting Lucid to your Canvas account.  Look through the article to find your particular error message.

 

#1 Your institution does not allow you to register through Canvas

 

If you get the following error message, Click “sign up here

 

From this screen input your email address for your institution and click “Next”.

 

Once you click next, your institution login screen will pop up.  Follow the prompts to login with the credentials for your institution.

 

Now that you have created your Lucid Account, return to the Canvas browser tab and refresh your screen.  Follow the Lucid prompts in Canvas to complete the process for connecting your Lucid account to Canvas.  Learn more about connecting Lucid to Canvas here.

 

 

#2 A Lucid account already exists for your email address

 

If you get the following error message, Click “log in” because you already have a Lucid account associated with the email address you are using?

 

Log in with your email and click “next”.

 

Then, input your Lucid password and click log in.  (If you don’t remember your password, use forgot password to recover/reset your password through email) 

 

 

Now that you are logged in to Lucid, return to your Canvas browser tab and refresh your page.

 

Click continue and finish connecting your Lucid account to Canvas.  Learn more about connecting Lucid to Canvas here.

#3 You authenticate your Lucid account, but you get Error Code: CE007

1. Close your current browser tab. 

 

2. Go back to your Canvas tab and refresh the page

3. Reopen Lucid in Canvas and you should now be connected to Lucid or be moved on to the next step of the connection process.
