We all know how hard it can be to get the whole faculty to sign a birthday card on time for the big day.  The days of sneaking the card around the faculty room dreading being discovered are finally over.  Create and send out a birthday card using Lucidspark.  One quick email with a link to the birthday card and everyone can sign from the safety of their own classroom and the birthdayee will always get their card on time!

Create your own fun cards with Lucid’s images, emojis, and gifs or try out a birthday card template.  If you’ve created your own Lucid birthday cards, share your ideas with the community below!

Awww! That’s super cute, and paper friendly too :)  We could also do it for our kids and they could have a digital card they could look back on.  Kind of like a place where everyone says something nice about their classmates :)

Punny Birthday Cards

I love this idea, @Vanessa C101! Using a Lucidspark board is such a time-saver and it's much more eco-friendly too. I’m a huge fan of a good pun, and I think these could be used as a fun staff-to-staff shoutout or even a specific classroom activity when it's a student's birthday in a certain subject. Here are a few "subject-specific" messages that would look great as sticky notes or digital badges on a birthday board:

  • Math: "I hope your birthday is an acute one! Don’t let any problems get in your way today."

  • Science: "I hope you have an elemental birthday! You’re periodically the best."

  • Music: "I hope your birthday hits all the right notes! Don't let anyone sharp your style."

  • Tech/ICT: "Wishing you a byte-sized birthday! Hope your day is fully charged with fun!"

  • History: "Wishing you a birthday for the history books! You’re making your own epoch today."

  • Admin: "Happy Birthday to our Head Honcho! You rule the school in the best way!"

Adding these with some fun emojis or GIFs really helps build that classroom (and faculty) culture!

I love these templates, @Vanessa C101. I’ve done something like the sticky note one before, and it works great.

I also love that you can add video for an added personal touch.

PS: @Shira M I love math puns. I start each of my math video lessons with a comic or pun :)
