Teachers often wonder who contributed during class discussions and activities. There are a few ways that teachers can quickly determine who participated.
Option #1
Highlight all of the stickies on the board and select filter objects. This will give you a list of everyone who added to the board and how many stickies they created.
Option #2
Use collaborator colors to make sure each student uses their own unique sticky color to add their ideas to the board. Then, highlight the stickers and sort by color.
Option #3
Use the search feature (cmd/ctrl+f) to locate all of the stickies added by each student.
Option #4
Have students tag all of their contributions with their name.
Then, select all of the stickies and sort by tags.
Option #5
Last, but not least instructors can use the version history to view all of the edits and contributions made to the board during the activity.
This is just fantastic, especially in a busy class! Having the ability to easily identify those who made a contribution to a Lucid activity, without taking the time to manually track them, is invaluable. Option 1 and Option 2 are excellent choices for immediate visual feedback, and Option 3 is great for detailed inspection later. Appreciate your very much posting these time-saving suggestions! These will make conversations about student participation so much more thoughtful.
I’ve had to use Option 3 to figure out who’s messed up my board! ;) But, I like having the kids pick a color and add their comments that way to filter. Thanks!
