For an online course with 1,500 students, can a single Lucid board effectively support simultaneous collaboration? I’m considering utilizing the breakout boards feature for grouping, but I anticipate potential logistical challenges. What solutions would you recommend for facilitating collaboration among such a large class size?

@isaacwkc The breakout boards would definitely do the trick.  Here is a video with a few tips, tricks, and limitations to be aware of.  I am also available to hop on a zoom meeting to review/troubleshoot setting this up together.  Email me to set this up (vcicero@lucidchart.com)

Oh my goodness. 1500 students!  Is this a MOOC?  Why would you want to try to tackle a simultaneous activity with that many people. Assuming the Lucid technology could support it, how are you going to physically manage interacting with 1500 people at the same time? Inputs and changes will be happening so rapidly if the students are actively engaged that you are bound to miss some things. If you pull it off, I’ll stand here and applaud your ability to manage such a thing. I just can’t wrap my head around a singular class with a singular synchronous event with that many people and I have taught online for 20 years. I truly wish you the best of luck with this endeavor.
