Process accuracy and timing is a crucial component to legal work.  Developing these skills early will help students later on as they are working in a real law firm.  To help students develop these skills Cassidy uses Lucid to create activities that help students understand the step-by-step processes within the legal system.  For this example, students are given a list of new client intake tasks and asked to put them in the correct order: starting with when the client enters the firm all the way to preparing their case file.  This helps students not only visualize the flow of responsibilities, but also helps them analyze and discuss as a class why it is important for these tasks to be completed in the correct order.  This analysis and discussion allows students to start thinking like a legal professional and gives them the experiences they need to understand how each action in the process builds towards a complete and well organized case file.
