Leonel uses this icebreaker every semester to kickstart a fun discussion with his students. He decided to add it to Lucidspark to make it even more interactive. Students share their opinion of where a giraffe should wear their bow tie by dragging it onto the activity and then they use a sticky note to explain their reasoning. He likes how Lucidspark creates a visual record of student thinking allowing the group to see everyone else’s thinking all in one place. This allows students to start noticing trends and commonalities within the group and uses those observations to springboard a verbal discussion.
