Aaron uses Lucidchart to help students layout and visualize the process for medication administration: connecting syringe size, needle size, and injection location. Students often struggle with keeping track of which administration process they should use for each of the different medications they are studying. This activity allows students to engage in a hands-on learning activity and once completed and reviewed gives them a reference document to help them in the future.
To complete this activity students drag out a sticky note, add the name of the medication, put it into the correct section, and finally add additional details and resources about the medication to the sticky. By completing this activity students are able to organize the information they are learning into a consolidated document that they can easily refer back to later.
