Lucid Error CE017-02 in Canvas Assignment

We are getting this error message for a Lucidchart assignment in a live section in Canvas.  The Lucidchart assignment was setup in a blueprint and then synced over to the live section.  Does this error mean that every time we sync blueprint content to a live section that has Lucid, we will have to open it and save it first every time before we do the sync?  And if so, does the person who created the Lucid assignment in the Canvas blueprint have to open and sabe every time before the sync or can an admin do this too?

Error CE017-02 is most commonly tied to Lucid assignments that were copied, imported, or synced from another course such as a blueprint or master shell, where the external tool link to the Lucid document does not carry over cleanly into the new course context. This means Canvas knows about the assignment, but the Lucid link inside it is effectively broken for that specific course, which triggers the error.​

The recommended next step is not to rely on the synced Lucid assignment itself, but to rebuild it in the live course: create a fresh Canvas assignment in the live section, choose “External tool” as the submission type, and then select/attach the correct Lucid document again from your Lucid library. Anyone with sufficient permissions in the live course (instructor, instructional designer, or Canvas admin) can do this; it does not have to be the original blueprint creator
