Video: How I use Lucid to help students practice Pharmacology classifications

Detailed Walkthrough

Perla uses Lucid to help students connect all of the medications they are studying to the correct drug class, dosages and the correlating generics.  She uses Lucid because it gives students a visual, hands-on learning experience that her students prefer.

For this activity, students are learning about the different classes of antibiotics.  All of the drug classes are listed on the concept map and all of the medications are listed on sticky notes across the top.  Each student gets their own copy of the activity and they drag each of the medications into the correct category of the concept map.  Lastly, they turn it in and review the correct placement for each of the medications.
