Throughout Nohea’s program they focus heavily on medical terminology. So, she created a Medical Terms Relay Race to make practicing medical terms more fun and engaging. For this activity each group has a different body system cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive and so on. Each group is provided a word or definition and asked to replace that word with the medical term. For example, students would replace heart with cardio because cardio is the medical prefix for heart. The first team to finish their list wins!
