Dr. Tanya Samuel uses Lucid’s visual activities to give students hands-on practice with the vocabulary they are learning in class.  This helps to develop their business acumen and prepare them for their future careers in the business field.

She starts by opening a Lucidspark board and dragging the vocabulary matching template onto the canvas.

Then, she inputs the vocabulary words and definitions she wants students to review, saves the changes and sends it out to students to complete.

Students go into their own version of the activity, drag each of the definitions to the corresponding vocabulary word and submit their responses.  Then, the class discusses the results and determines the correct answers as a class.

These types of activities are beneficial for students because they give students another way to study for exams, test their current understanding, and develop the business acumen needed to be successful.
