I have recently discovered the power of custom shapes. My question is when I use the Change Shape tool from the right mouse click with a shape selected or from the Page > Layout > Change Shape drop down my custom shapes do not display. I have turned off all the other shapes but I am still seeing what appear to be the flowchart shapes.

Hi Gil thanks for posting in the community! Unfortunately the Change Shape function is only available for a few select shape libraries such as Flowchart Shapes and the standard Shapes Libraries that are the default in a new document; it is not possible to use the Change Shape function to change to a custom shape. I can certainly see how this functionality would be useful, though, and I’ve converted this post to an idea so that you can others can upvote it and share additional detail about your use case. Thanks for your request and I apologize for any inconvenience this causes you.

Thanks for providing this answer Micah. I was trying to do the same thing as Gil. It would be great functionality to include, but at least now I know it’s not possible at this time.
