My suggestion is rather simplistic-

I would like to see a toggle within ‘user settings’ that when enabled, opens any Lucid document in a “read-only” mode.

Here’s why:

Some users create & edit a lot of content - this isn’t for them.
Some users have the rights to create & modify, but mainly consume a lot of content created by others, but don’t use lucid very often.   To prevent them from inadvertently making changes to a document, they could “muzzle themselves” by turning this feature on.

I’m very aware of the ability to lock areas or whole documents to prevent this, but something like this would allow people to protect themselves from themselves 😊

#itme - I’m the one who screwed up a complex document by dragging things around by mistake.  (reverting the version was easy, to be fair)
