Every time we start a board, we have to import the library of shapes we’d like to work with. If there was a way to create the library of shapes at the system level, so it applied to all boards, we would have a better experience.

Just to ensure any user who comes across this post is aware of this, I wanted to mention the ability to create a custom shape library. This allows you to add a shape from Lucid or from your device into a library you customize, which you can then use across all boards. If you are on a Team or Enterprise account, you can share your custom shape libraries with other users on your account. For more details, I recommend reading through the Shape libraries in Lucidchart article from the Lucid Help Center.
However, in your feedback here, I am understanding this: You are hoping set your choice of shape libraries to always populate in the shapes panel of every document, so you don’t have to re-select your desired shape library every time you create new documents. Is that correct?
Please let me know if I’m misunderstanding what you’re hoping to achieve here!
