You used to be able to leave the “Status” field on Lucid Cards blank (and it was blank by default). It is no longer possible to set the Status to “blank”

This is no longer possible. This means you always have a “Status” icon on the card (as well as an Assign icon for some reason). This clutters up the cards when you don’t want or need those attributes.

You may want to link this to Customize the shape and components of the Lucid card | Community - although that one is a feature request, whereas this report is really a regression. I feel this is not an “idea” but a bug report as this used to work fine.

Hi @flytzen, thank you again for posting this feedback!

I’ve spoken in further detail with our product team and have an update to share. The development teams are working fast to fix the forced display of the "assignee" field on Lucid Cards and the layout problems caused.

In the meantime, we want to show you how you can get your affected boards fixed, using a beta feature we just rolled out. This new feature lets you customize the fields right on your Lucid Cards.

To remove the assignee field and tweak other fields on your cards, follow these steps:

  1. Select a Lucid Card
  2. Click on the pencil icon (You'll see it when you select a card)
  3. Select "Settings" in the top-right corner of the menu that pops up
  4. The Lucid fields panel will appear on the right of your canvas. Here you can reorder fields on your cards.
  5. Add or remove fields from a card’s face by dragging and dropping fields into and out of the “hide from card face” section.

We really appreciate your patience and feedback as we work to make Lucidspark even better. We hope to have a fix out soon!

More details can be found in the Use Lucid cards to plan, organize, and assign tasks article.

Very timely, I am literally just working on another board where this is important.

Very minor suggestion; When I remove those icons, all the existing cards keep their size and therefore I have a white band at the bottom of each card. New cards are fine and I can adjust the existing cards. Would be nice to be able to auto-resize the cards when the icons are removed, but I am really just nit-picking.

Thank you for being so responsive!

Hi @flytzen, I’m happy to hear that this worked well for you! Thank you for that additional feedback here on the sizing of the cards. Your feedback is incredibly important to us so thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on this feature with us as the product teams work to improve this experience!
