Hello when double clicking any where on a blank space of a Lucid chart document it defaults to a 'sticky note' yellow box.  How do I get it to revert back to the original empty text box?

Thanks

Hi @tim h101 thanks for posting in the community! This change (from a text box to a sticky note) is currently under an AB test. You can use this link to reset the double-click feature to insert text rather than sticky notes within your account.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks that worked.

It would be nice if this was an option to select our default double click item or make it the last item you used.

I'd much rather the app let me choose which shape was the default double-click action.  I want neither a sticky note nor a text box.  I'd like a specific shape.

Thanks for the link. That sticky note was super annoying.

The link above does not work for me it simply launches a new Lucid tab.

Hi Ryan

The link should launch a new Lucid tab. In that tab were you able to doubleclick and add a text box?

It seems that one must click the link every time I open a template.

I have never used a sticky note. This seems unnecessary.

Hi Don thanks for posting your experience in the community! To clarify when you open a template after clicking the link above - the behavior reverts to a double click opening a new sticky note? Is this also the case when opening a new document and not a template? Thanks for your help and patience!
