Storing one’s Lucid documents on the Lucid servers is really the biggest failing of this excellent app. I exclusively use LucidChart to make diagrams to be inserted into other documents. It is insufferable and just not secure that I must store the source files for the document and the diagrams separately. Where will my LucidChart diagrams go if Lucid were to go bankrupt tomorrow?
I would like:
- To choose where to save the ultimate copy of each diagram
- To choose my local filesystem
- To choose my company’s SharePoint deployment
- To save the ultimate copy of the diagrams in a plain-text format
I actually like LucidChart so much that I think it is the best web app there is. Most web apps are absolutely hopeless. It is just a real shame that it is so poor in this particular area.
