Organigramme - Create an intermediate level for assistants/secretary

Thanks for posting in the Lucidchart community. Unfortunately it’s currently not possible to add an intermediate level between employees in Lucidchart without making one of them the supervisor. As a workaround I recommend doing the following: 

1. Click on red + sign below the supervisor to add a new employee shape for the assistant/secretary
2. Move all the other supervisor’s reports to below the new shape by dragging and dropping them. Those employee reports will remain connected to the moved shapes and change positions with them.
3. Add a new employee shape at the same level of the assistant/secretary shape.
4. Select that new shape > click on the Shape Options menu > make the shape transparent by sliding the blue dot along the opacity bar until 0% (transparent).
5. Double-click anywhere within your org chart to leave the group editing mode.
6. Drag a line from the supervisor to connect it to the reports below.
7. Format the line you created by adjusting the endpoint thickness and color so they match the other lines of your org chart. For more information on how to do that take a look at our Work with Lines article. 

While what you’re trying to do is not currently supported in Lucidchart we're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that.
