At the moment, i am using timelines to plan towards builds/releases, which I would like to have in JIRA. The problem is that if I create a new timeline, I have to re-check all the milestone/timeline dates i had previously. This is manual, time-consuming and means i may not always have enough of the ‘full picture’.

What I propose is the option to link milestones on timelines to artefacts in Jira (most likely ‘Releases’).

I want to be abele to:

  1. Convert my milestones to releases from within the timeline , maintaining the ‘Lucid First’ approach;
  2. Be able to pull in existing releases from my project (selectably) to ensure Jira and Lucid both work off the same data, backed up to Lucid.
