I have written multiple process guides using Lucidchart. What I am trying to do is create a link to open the related Word document file from a network folder. The Word document has highly detailed instructions in case there are process questions. Only staff that has access to the folder would be able to get to the file.
These files are not accessible via http.

+20Hi Sam thanks for posting in the Lucid Community! Unfortunately linking to locally stored or external files in that manner isn't currently supported in Lucidchart. However I definitely understand how that could be useful for your work and I've logged this feedback for review by our development team which utilizes requests like this when prioritizing improvements to Lucidchart. If you'd like to share additional detail about your use case or what you'd like to see in this experience we'd love to hear more in this thread or via our feature request form.
