With the passing of The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1, Level AA under Title II of the ADA, all state and local government agencies must make all web and app content accessible by a specific date (depending on size). For a large chunk of school districts, that means all content shared on any web platform or app platform must comply with the new rule by as early as April 2026.
The inclusion of an integrated Accessibility Checker in your product would be extremely beneficial not only for your customers who need to abide by the new federal guidelines, but also for Lucid! Competitors, such as Adobe, Microsoft Visio and Canva, offer built-in accessibility checker tools to help users ensure their flowcharts, graphs, documents, etc will not cost them a fine once posted on the internet. By not providing a built-in tool, you are doing a disservice to yourselves as users may migrate to other platforms for the ease of using the integrated tool.
Please consider adding one - I know I would prefer to keep using your wonderful product, but may be forced to start utilizing others for time efficiency.
Thank you!
