I use LucidChart to mark up alot of site plans, drawing power system diagrams overlayed over siteplans.
Mostly these will consist of initially copying in a screen shot of an area of a site plan.
I’ve recently discovered that when a document is deleted, the image within this document is still stored within the image manager and as such still taking up storage space, So now I’m hitting the Data cap for storage.
The Image manager isn’t incredibly helpful to be able to clear out the old images, I have 6 years worth of images which is quite a substantial amount.
Improvements I would suggest are
-Image manager having a hover over zoom on the images, some of the images I use are quite detail, in the small thumbnail its very difficult to tell what the image is, then once you open the image you’re multiple selections are cleared
-Image manager having a sort function, i.e sort by date uploaded, for example I know that images I’ve uploaded 6 years ago are incredibly unlikely to be needed now
-Image Manager having a filter for unused images, This would be an incredibly simple way of clearing out old images, If you had a check box that only showed images that were unused in any of your documents you could very quickly delete them
-having an option to delete associated images from image manager when deleting a document
-having an option to delete an image from image manager when deleting it within the document
