Hi

I am working to create an Entity relationship diagram (ERD) in lucid chart .Few tables have 100+ columns .I want to know is there any way to collapse/expand these tables?

Neha

This would be extremely useful and allow for a cleaner look (at first glance) then be able to 'expand' to see the full extent of the table....

Hi @joe r101

Thank you for continuing this thread!

We're always looking for ways to improve Lucidchart and your feedback is the best way for us to do that.

We are continuously looking for how we can make our product more useful and effective for our users and we pass that information directly to our product development team!

Agreed! This feature would be very useful to have.

Hi @jackie b thank you for continuing this thread and expressing your interest in this feature!

If there are any other users that would like to see this feature in Lucidchart you can share your interest by posting in product feedback.

Any update with regards to this feature request? It would be extremely useful to implement

Hi there

Thanks for adding to this thread!

At this time we do not have any update to provide regarding this feature request. I would recommend adding your vote to the product feedback area of the community. Again the more requests for a feature the higher they are prioritized.

If you're interested in knowing what happens to your request after you have filed it I would recommend giving the following Community post a read:

Thank you!

Doesnt seem like this is happening?

Has anyone in this thread figured out another tool that does this?

Hi @stevecam27, thanks for continuing this thread. Right now, I’m not able to confirm a timeline for possible implementation of this. For more information on how our product development team utilizes these requests as they prioritize improvements to our products, I recommend this post:

Bumping this thread (and upvoting). This feature determines whether or not my team would be able to leverage Lucid long-term for documenting ERDs.

Hi @skvillalobos, thank you for your feedback here and for your upvote! I can certainly understand why this would be useful to your team. Your comment and upvote are the perfect methods of indicating support for this to be implemented!

Upvoting this as well. Aside from creating process flowcharts, ERDs are the main thing I used Lucid for, and this would make the overall review of an ERD so much cleaner.

Thank you @JoeR for upvoting this post and adding your comment here to show support for this!
