I would like request a valuable use case that could enhance the integration between LucidSpark and Smartsheet.
Currently, I am utilizing the LucidChart/LucidSpark integration for team brainstorming sessions and to create user journey roadmaps and process maps, with cards that sync back to Smartsheet. While this functionality is beneficial, there is a limitation: the LucidSpark board only displays the primary column of the Smartsheet cards. Expanding this feature to include additional metadata—such as Status, End Date, Responsible, Size, and other relevant details—would greatly improve visibility and operational efficiency for users.
This enhanced display capability is already available in the LucidSpark and Jira integration, as well as with LucidChart and Excel. However, it appears to be lacking in the Smartsheet integration.
Moreover, I have attempted to apply conditional formatting in LucidChart based on card statuses, but unfortunately, this feature is not supported as the metadata cannot be read. This limitation further underscores the need for improved integration.
I believe that incorporating these enhancements into Smartsheet's roadmap could provide significant benefits to many users, streamlining workflows and increasing productivity.
Is there any information available regarding the potential inclusion of these features in your near-term roadmap? From the image on the Smartsheet sight, it looks like this feature is already available as the image below shows additional fields:
