The example <SalesProcess.csv> process flow import defines a ‘Contained By’ column. This is based on Swinlane-object-ID, 2 in the example, and then lane to which the process belongs, e.g.
2 Swim Lane Flowchart Shapes
3 Terminator Flowchart Shapes 2:1
4 Process Flowchart Shapes 2:1
5 Process Flowchart Shapes 2:2
6 Process Flowchart Shapes 2:2
The issues is Excel interprets data like 2:1 and 2:2 as a time, 02:01:00, 02:02:00, and so even resaving the example csv results in a corrupted load as Lucid can’t the interpret the corrupted ‘Contained By’ data.
This can be fixed by replacing all the values with a leading ‘ to force interprtation of the value as text, or using the cell format drop-down to set as text or by editing the csv in a text editor after data preparation. Note the simple act of loading the example csv into Excel has Excel interpret the ‘Contained By’ values as times, and so setting the cell format as text doesn’t solve the issue as 2:1 for instance is concverted to being 0.084027778, which is f2 hours 1 min of a 24 hour day.
It might be an idea for Lucid to allow an alternative sepparator, e.g. 2-1, 2-2, as this would stop Excel ‘being helpful’ and interpreting values as times.
