How true.  While Lucid is impressive for a web interface, it is still a web interface and so lacking the richness of controls that a dedicated program has.  This feature would go a long way to filling the gap.

As can be seen in the forum here, there are several “related topics” that would be solved or at least worked around with this feature.

Some of the keyboard shortcuts also simply don’t work with non-english keyboards on a Mac.

Example that I constantly require:
Moving shapes forward and backward is cmd + (alt) + + or ]
on a Swiss-German keyboard the e and ] already ready require the combination of alt + 5 or 6 resulting in these shortcuts not being recognized by lucid.

Although I’m sad that lucid only considers US keyboards to exist, they are not alone with that narrowmindedness. A feature to change shortcuts would help aleviate this and then different presets for different keyboard layouts could even be made available.
