Hi all, updating this thread with good news - this is now possible for both individual documents and in the way that Emma D describes in her comment above. You can find full details on all options for transferring ownership in this article from our help center.

Thanks for posting in the Lucidchart Community! There is not currently a way to change the ownership of a document. However you can share the folder via the orange Share button on the upper right corner of your canvas. Alternatively you can ask your collaborator to duplicate the document by navigating to File > Make a Copy/Save As. This will copy the contents of the document to a new document with a different document ID owned by whomever made the duplicate.

+7Hi Minyu thanks for following up on this thread. There is still no way to change file ownership for users on Free or Individual accounts- the best method is described in the comment above. However if both users are on a Team or Enterprise account the admin on the account can delete can delete one user and transfer ownership of their files to the other user.
