Hi. In 2019 someone asked if it was possible to apply conditional formatting to a table of imported data. I have that same requirement--I've imported a spreadsheet and want to substitute a checkbox for text wherever the cell contains "Yes."

However when I choose to apply formatting to shape and try to select the property (which should be the fields) nothing is there. The condition appears to only apply to the entire table not individual cells in the table. And it is additive i.e. it's not replacing the "yes" instances it's simply putting one small checkbox at some position within the table.

Has anyone come up with a way to do this in the last 3 years? Would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

HI Cynthia

We treat the table as a single shape so there is not a way to apply conditional formatting to cells within a table shape. I’ve converted this post to an idea in our Product Feedback space to surface it to our development team - please take a moment to upvote it and comment with any additional details about what you’d like to see.

Hi There -

I too would like to apply conditional formatting to a table of imported excel data. I would like to substitute various icons for number values in cells of the table.

Please let me know if anything has changed.

Thank you.

Hi Meghan thanks for your comment in our community! Unfortunately conditional formatting within a table is still unsupported - please upvote and comment any additions you’d like to share on this post.

I would also love to see conditional formatting in Lucid tables down to the cell level. I would also need to link shape data at the cell level for this to work.
