Add Shared Diagrams to Google Drive

New diagrams that I create are automatically added to the Lucidchart folder in Google Drive under My Drive. I would like to also add diagrams that have been shared with me (under the shared with me folder in Lucidchart) under My Drive but I cannot find a way to do that. I was able to export shared files to Google Drive but it has to be converted to a PDF or JPEG first.

Is there a way to add shared diagram to Google Drive while keeping the Lucidchart format?

Thanks.

Hi Chinam! Thanks for reaching out. Yes your Google Drive will only sync the diagrams that you personally created. The work around as you stated is to just export the shared diagram from Lucidchart and then add that to your Drive. If in the future you would like to have shared diagrams be able to sync you can upvote this idea to bring it to the attention of our product team. Thanks for your request!

I would also like this capability. I showed some of our partners LucidChart because it has been working well for me. I didn't realize that now when they create LucidChart documents to share with me that I cannot add them to my Google Drive. That leaves those documents less accessible to me in the future which is contrary to my objectives with an app/service like this.

Please consider adding this feature.

Here here! Really trying to get all team members to put their LucidCharts in customer and internal folders but it would be so much easier if I could move from a shared with me folder to customer/internal shared folders when necessary....it's hard to rally everyone to be diligent in doing so. Please let shared LucidCharts sync to my G Drive please please!!!
