My group is tasked with managing all software licensing in our agency. In our admin console as the account owner I am currently consuming a LucidChart license but I am not using LucidChart - I am merely assigning licenses to users. Is there a way to free up the license I am consuming and still remain the Account Owner?

Thank you for reaching out to the community! We require Account Owners on Team accounts to have a license and do not allow them to un-assign it from themselves.
Why? Now I have to give up my admin role to one of the users. I don't need this software but I am an IT admin and manage other software licenses in that way.

The level of subscription you are on does not allow for View Only users. We can not remove your license as Account Owner due to this restriction. Our Enterprise level accounts do allow View Only users which would allow for you to be an unlicensed Account Owner.
