Watch this quick video to learn how to use visual activities for exit tickets.  Then, share how you use Lucid for quick checks during class.

I absolutely love the idea of using Lucid for exit tickets! I find it to be a fantastic tool for quick checks during class, particularly for students who may not excel in traditional assessment methods like written responses or multiple-choice questions. These students often benefit from more visual and interactive approaches. For example, when teaching about the history of the Mayans, I had students engage in a sorting activity using Lucid. I presented them with a list of both historical sports played by the Mayans (like ball games) and modern sports popular in Guatemala today. This visual activity proved to be incredibly effective. It not only assessed their understanding of Mayan culture and its impact on modern-day Guatemala but also allowed students to demonstrate their knowledge in a creative and engaging way. Some students even added visual elements like images or short descriptions to their sorted lists, further enriching their responses.
