Video: How I give students the opportunity to apply what they are learning about the U.S. Constitutional Amendments to real world scenarios

Detailed Walkthrough

Lisa uses a drag and drop matching game in History 101 to give students a chance to apply their learning to real life scenarios.  In this activity, students analyze each scenario, research and then discuss and match the most appropriate US Constitutional Amendment to each scenario.

Lisa used to complete this activity with paper cut outs, but by having it in Lucid it can be used in other learning situations such as: synchronous and asynchronous, in-person and online, and traditional and flipped.

Lastly, by having this activity in a digital format Lisa is able to meet the accessibility needs of more students due to it’s compatible with screen readers, magnification tools, speech to text tools, and more.
