Selecting and copying Lucidchart text through Canvas Speedgrader is not working
I am grading Lucidcharts in Canvas Speedgrader, for a university course assignment, and I can’t select and copy text.
I have double-clicked to highlight the text located in a shape. It won’t copy.
I have dragged the cursor to highlight the text located in a shape. It won’t copy.
I have tried to do this in both Safari and Chrome.
Now it says I have been removed as a collaborator.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

@Kaptainl you said you were removed as a collaborator, but were you removed as a teacher?
Who can use the Lucid integration in Canvas? While all Canvas users have access to the Lucid integration in Canvas, users without a Teacher or Student role in Canvas will not receive the automatic upgrade to the full Lucid Education Suite for free. For more information on how to claim free Lucid access now offered through Canvas, see this community post.
You also said that you were using more than one browser.
Why am I getting an error message when attempting to access Lucid from Canvas? This may be happening if you have third-party cookies disabled on your browser. Follow the steps in our Troubleshooting: Enable third-party cookies article, refresh your browser, and try again.
Thanks for the reply. I’m in now--not sure why it blocked me as a collaborator, when I’m the teacher.
My issue is still that I can’t copy text from a Lucid Chart.
Hi @Kaptainl, thank you for following up! Are you still experiencing issues copying and pasting text? We’ve been unable to reproduce the issue on our end. Is the behavior below not working as expected for you? Is it possible that the text you are attempting to copy is perhaps part of an image? Thank you for your help and patience as we look into this further!
