Objective: Have arrows with 2 px thickness and text size characteristics (9 pitch not bold) to eliminate having to reset those characteristics each time instead of the default settings. Issue: Select an arrow, change the arrowhead, change the line px to 2, select arrow, change text to 9 pitch bold. Drag shape into custom shape library. When using the custom shape line px is 2, arrow is correct BUT the text defaults back to 8 pitch bold instead of 9 pitch not bold.

I was not able to reproduce this issue. Could you try opening your document in a private or incognito window to help us narrow down the potential cause? Could you also try connecting to a different network or disconnecting from your VPN (if applicable)? Sometimes account performance issues can be related to internet security/speed or browser issues. These steps will help us eliminate that possibility. For help with opening an incognito window, please see this community post.
If those don’t resolve the problem, can you please send the following information so I can take a closer look?

The following is in Edge - incognito ( I would share the MP4 but I don’t see a way to add it to this ticket - I don’t have a public URL to post it to.
Create an arrow, set line px = 2,
Click on text spot and word Text shows
Change text pt from 8 to 9 and remove bold
Click off the arrow with the changes
Click back on the arrow with the changes (text still shows 9 pitch
Drag shape to shape library (yes it shows in the library)
Click on the shape to put it on the page.
Click on the text oval
Word Text appears in 8 pitch bold - the arrow and line are correct.
Tested trying to save the word Text at 9 pitch not bold
When it’s dragged to the shape library the arrow doesn’t even show. Hover will show as seen below, when clicked the text still shows as 8 pitch, bold.
