Today, I am no longer able to insert images into any project. I cannot cut and paste them, I cannot use the “insert” menu. I cannot drag and drop them.

As soon as I drag the image over, (it’s a PNG, and rather small. I’ve tried MULTIPLE PNGs with no luck), a box appears in the window of the board I am working on and there is a gradient animation and then poof! It’s gone.

This was working yesterday.

Things I have tried:

  • Restarting Chrome
  • Incognito window
  • PNGs, JPGs
  • File Drag and drop
  • Insert menu command
  • Cut & Paste from Snippet
  • I tried creating a new project. I tried it in old projects that have images in them already
  • I have no enabled Chrome Extensions.
  • Reviewed Storage plan. I have 80% space left.

Nothing works. It is now broken no matter what I do and it is impeding a major project I am working on that requires images!

Hey @Curtis S, thanks for your post and I am sorry for the trouble! I can indeed see that there is currently an open Support ticket where a member of our team is investigating the issue you are experiencing. Please keep referring to that ticket to streamline communication.

@tinarenee23 Thank you for chiming in and for sharing your experience in this thread! I am happy to hear the issue has been solved using standard Google Chrome.

Please do not hesitate to follow up here if you have any additional questions or concerns!

Cheers!

@Curtis S Please copy/paste this into a ticket to our Product Support team to reach an employee and not a volunteer.

done. Thank you. I couldn’t find the link to open a product support ticket unfortunately so I used this. I’ve got the ticket opened now. thanks so much! Hopefully they can resolve this quickly. It’s causing me a lot of anguish lol

Had this same issue today and saw this question.  I was using Chrome Beta.  When I tried in standard Chrome, I had no issues inserting images.
